Knew a girl in tantan apps.

talked to her awhile and she stated that she is on holiday.

Met her at geylang lorong 15 Seng Siong. CARROT SHOP DE PALACE between geylang LORONG 13 and 15

She brought me to a hang flower joint to drink.

Order 2 red wine costing 45 each.

I paid and she wanted to order 4 more.

I stopped the waitress.

Anyway be vigilant.

I never knew such method happens in Singapore.

didnt know such things happen in SG.

Happened to my group of frens many years back in Beijing, similar type of scam. Was in Beijing last month and used People Nearby....a gal asked me to add her. Her pics looked ok and we TCSS awhile. Says she worked in Advertising and stays near sanlitun.

Then she said she bored and wanted to drink. I said one of the bars in sanlitun bec my frens are waiting for me there. She said no and wanted a quite place to talk and drink. I said fine. She asked me meet her at sanlitun SOHO signage bec she stays nearby.

I went to see how she looked since my frens are also nearby. Reached and waited. Instead of arriving in a cab, she walked up from the basement.

Asked her again to cross over to opposite but she said wanted some place quiet and say we explore around the SOHO there.

Went to B1 and she led me to a cafe bar. No many people. I looked at the menu and ordered a bottle of red wine (rmb 380). She then matter of factly tell the waiter bring fruits and nuts. I asked how much she said very cheap.....I started to have reservations. We chat a few minutes and waiter came back saying the wine i asked for no more and he recommended another slim bottle wine that I have never heard before. Asked how much he said the ard the same price. I insisted to know the price and he said rmb680. I said ok.

Wine was mixed and the first taste I know something is not right and i prepared to play the game already. I texted my fren my location and ask them come over.

Bill came and it was RMB2250! Meaning plate of fruits and nuts cost RMB1570! I asked for receipt and he claimed machine spoil. The gal started to say is ok this shop wont cheap. I dont even bother to reply her. And two more men came to the table.

I said I have not enough cash only have card (knowing that if they swipe, I can cancel it later). They also smart. They say cannot accept foreign card.

I told them I have only 1000 and thats it. Either they reduce the price or call the gong-an to escort me back to hotel. They asked me draw money from ATM and I told them my card cannot use ATM overseas. They think uncle first day in China. They then say they can ferry me back to hotel....think I stupid meh. The gal at this point started to say just pay lah...a bit of money only...or ask your frens bring....and yes...my frens.

My frens arrived, three ex-wujing who are now part of the 招商局and税务局....they thought my frens are SG...and they were dead wrong. Told my frens the problem. You should see the stunned face.....my frens told them, earn what they should earn and I said I am not unreasonable and will pay what i have consumed.

The waiter looked at the gal...and then she spoke....she is the boss there. She offered the drink and fruits and nuts free saying is misunderstanding.

My fren put 500 on the table and told them, we are not here for free drinks and they should also be mindful of their acts.

Dont mentioned Bro Goodfellow and Bro Reading....

there are really a lot of scammers using the People Nearby function....some are actual WL..... but some really cannot heaven and earth when you see pic and actual person (same here as some of the ML in SG).

The easier meat are the masseurs and waitress and salesgal....never fail to score at least once.

wow i believe its a joint scam by the gal and the KTV owner who runs by 2 china guys and its located at 2nd floor of shop house whereby below its a hang flower joint, right?

Be careful, its 100% scam as they use white paper and hand write the price on top without any letter head or so.

Can anybody suggest what can we do to these group of con-man and con-woman?
