China Southern to Launch First Nonstop Flight from China to Malacca


China Southern Airlines announced that it will launch a scheduled chartered service between Guangzhou and Malacca on September 29, marking the first nonstop flight linking mainland China and Malacca.

Effective from September 2016 to January 2017, the Guangzhou-based carrier will operate once per five days on the route, using either 122-seat Airbus A319s or 120-seat Boeing 737-700s.

Flight CZ8365 is scheduled to take off from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 9:10 a.m. and arrive in Malacca at 1:15 p.m., with the return flight CZ8366 leaving Malaysian city at 2:15 p.m. and landing in Guangzhou at 6:25 p.m.
