Just take an ojek at 10K. Tell him to bring u to the nearest $ changer. Ask him to wait and u go change your money. Small change from Balai $ changer should be no problem.

I did not change $ at the jetty. buy some random chewing gums n broke up the big notes took the blue van. thought i tio carrot when the driver told me 5k. I met a lao jiao uncle who been coming balai for years and he show me around. Gabion driver tell me that blue van is now 5k. so maybe raised i guess. gabion room is clean n big. super value for money. the only thing that bothers me is no wifi in room. only lobby got access.. the receptionist and driver speaks hokkien and chinese but i think their main is hokkien. I am fluent in both so very good for me

Im very sure of amt of money in my wallet after incident happened at massage parlor in HCM where small amt of usd n sgd stolen and i managed to get back my money.Im pretty sure sgd100 n 10k rp stolen.
