Uncharted Mandalay , Naypyidaw

For yangon, refer to http://samsforum.com/showthread.php?t=201979

Mandalay

- Feels like Mandalay central has no massage/spa. There are no massage/spa near the busy zegyo market. Verified with hotels, locals, motorbikers.

- Massage is usually located in hotel. Also came across a standalone parlour across the popular htoo htoo restaurant (read up wikitravel). HOWEVER, the masseurs are all MALE. rate is 6,000k per session.

- But, found a female massage place!

Golden City Crown Hotel
30th street, between 70th and 71st street.
02-61516; 02-24410; 02-24411

Rate: 6,000k per session (45 min)
The room is a hotel room with attached shower.
I asked the waiter, he say no special. Pls try and give your updates!
Massuese is hardworking and massage is quite good.

This place also has a KTV!
12,000k per hour. Female companion is 2,500k per hour (or was it 25,000k?).
I didnt have time to try it. Pls try and share FR

- I also learn from a local that in an area towards west of mandalay, there is red-light area. It is not near zegyo though.

Mandalay appears less exciting and more 'dry', so sharing my leads to be further built upon by bros.

Naypyidaw

I read that bros have not had much luck with this place yet.
However this article gives some inspiration: http://www2.irrawaddy.org/article.php?art_id=19324

Bro Khyber Pass:

Appreciate your comments on Mandalay. I'll be in Mandalay the 16-18/3, and wondered if any bros had found decent lobang there in the past. (will also be in Yangon prior to that, but I already read Yangon posts and have some plans).

Any other bros have experience in Mandalay, would appreciate! thanks.

Re: Uncharted Mandalay , Naypyidaw

These places are as old as books themselves. Far be it they are unchartered. I went to Mandalay ten year ago on route to a place called Phi O Lay at 5,000 ft above sea level for a farm visit. Long before you arrive, the British have already been there a century back.

A note of caution when u chiong in Burma, wear your sarong because some of these town n cities are along drug n trade routes stretching from China thro to the Andaman sea. The truckers give the pros HIV faster than they die. There are also strains of malaria tolerant to a cocktail of Antibiotics. Try not to catch any dieseases along the way as some places there are still hostile. Even in Mandalay the Buddhist majority is still at odd with the Moslem minority.
