I am going in October. Any fishbowls there? I was there about 5 years ago, and just had fun at pool bars near pub street, but I have heard those have changed a lot.

Central Market, Russian Market, Killing Fields, Royal Palace, Toul Sleng Genocide Museum, Angkor Wat, Floating Village on Lake Tonle Sap and also a 1 day trip to Sihanoukville for a seafood lunch. cheap imitation branded goods in the Russian Market; they are even cheaper than those available in HCM. Good lunch near the Central Market, 6 USD per head. Basically most of the pubs are in square of Monivong, Sihanouk, River front and 104th Street, but most of top class KTVs are along/near Mao Tse Tung and Rock north of it along Monivong. Avoid Billabong and Franjipani Fine Arts Hotel. St 136. Moon Lounge... Expensive drinks few bars start at 4pm , St 51. Cat house and Black Cat are open at this time. bar street at street 108 Golden Vine Pub and Enigma Pub....they have some gems as well if you don't mind brown sugar,was less crowded than St 104 or Street 136 Oasis was a clear winner at 136 and Air Force bar at 104 for me. Lady Drinks USD3. Bar fine is USD10. Streets 136 and 104. I prefer 104 which has less customers and the girls are more friendly. 104th street is nice. 136th is more like tourist trap. Local expats do not go there often. roam the riverside and had dinner (5-10 USD per head + beer) there. After dinner, we scrutinized St 136, St 104 (lot of ang mos), round-about (Wat Phnom or Wat Talon - 11.576055, 104.923152 , quality might not that good). Walk along riverside, past all the bars and food joints and reached a quiet park where the FLs gathered. No mamasan or papasan now, the girls quoted 20 USD (ST) and 30 USD (LT) but we found no quality stuff. many eateries and restaurants range from 1$ to 50$ per meal, then hit the bar streets (136, 110, etc etc) and patrol the bars to load up on brown sugars. all within walking distance, streets many people at night safe to walk up to 12am or 1am, no need tuk tuks FLs can be found on the roundabout (11.576055, 104.923152) and surrounding roads including the riverside park nearby. FLs are found singly or in groups with minders. Most of them are not conversant with English They cater mainly to the locals but some of the girls are young and pretty, quality 6-8. starting at 15 USD (ST) to 30 USD (LT). Pay later if U are picking gals from pubs, freelance or low-end KTVs Pay upfront at CASA, soul , the Mummy Tipping of USD$10-20 Soul (11.543921, 104.929712, KTV and Massage) near to the 4 tall buildings called Rose Condo. It is off the street of Sofitel and Aeon Mall. both soul city and luxury massage within walking distance from the newly open Aeon mall (11.548388, 104.933236). Luxury nearer and if continue walking will reach soul city. Casa Boutique Hotel (11.577918, 104.921424) 5min from st 104 tuk-tuk , USD30 to USD50 st Viet girls..trick is to go early around 1am and there will be abundance of choices there.Pay for 1 bottle of whisky or whatever, they are more willing to give u the room free. NOVA club about half the floor space of Pontoon, is a small space but elegant decorated. Good music mainly playing Billboard Disco Hits. Beer price at USD4. Frequent by their local and some Korean. Champs-Elysees Hotel, ktv, 11.552895, 104.923337 - 4 dozens beer + room cost US$70. Room not bad, can compare to Singapore's Jade KTV. Girls tips at US$5 to US$10 Tip - Local KTV, 5-10 USD... while foreigners infest type about 20-30 USD. Pubs and disco... if employ by company, will be LD while freelance.... USD 5-10 will do.
