the patch is called ortho evra patch. go and google it they have tons of info on the patch. in Singapore u can only get it from the clinic/gynae through prescription. obviously u cannot buy such stuffs OTC.. it's like going to a normal doctor he need to examine u first before issuing medicine. same logic. you two sound like a very young couple.. before you start having sex i suggest to see a gynae. there's absolutely no need to be shy about it. it's like walking into a normal clinic. please be responsible if you want to start having sex without condoms. if ur gf scared then accompany her la. thats a responsible bf.

cost of the patch is $36 for a box of 3 weeks which is 1 cycle. like the pill every contraceptive using hormones ingested into the body confirm have side effects. nothing major like heart failure or what but may cause bloated-ness, weight gain, dizziness, mood swings.. etc.. thats why u need to bring ur gf to the gynae she/he will be able to advise her if she should go on the pill or use the patch.
